Shipping

We are based at the tip of Africa in Cape Town. This means we are pretty far away from Europe, USA, Australia and Asia – pretty much everywhere. That does of course mean that shipping can be quite costly, especially on the bigger items.

The South African Post Office is the cheapest option available and they do offer tracking and insurance but it can take up to 8 weeks for something to arrive at most destinations. We do not recommend using this option. Lets rather chat about how we can get a courier to to deliver your order.

The most reliable option is definitely via courier. We use DHL and Fedex to ship items from other countries to South Africa when we make purchases. That generally takes 4-7 days. It works even more efficiently when we ship in the other direction, to the rest of the world.

If you want to order something and would like to use a courier we’ll get a quote and will subsidise some of the costs to keep it within reasonable $$$.

I wont ship anything without tracking info and you’ll be notified as soon as it leaves the premises.
